About Our 0.7mm GreenCoat® Steel Standing Seam Roof Sheet with Ribs
Looking for an interlocking metal roof sheet system that combines sleek, contemporary design with exceptional strength, durability and performance? If so, our ribbed A1 fire-rated 30/500 standing seam roofing sheets are a versatile, easy-to-install solution, compatible with both roofing and cladding projects.
Made from premium pre-coated steel and rated A1 for fire safety, which is the highest standard for construction materials, these sheets offer exceptional performance for domestic and commercial applications. Their modern finish is free from visible fixings, creating a clean, architectural look that’s popular for home conversions and design-led projects, as well as commercial units and more.
You can choose sheets with a 32mm pre-folded eaves lip for secure attachment to eaves flashings, or straight-cut ends for wall cladding installations. (An eaves lip isn’t required for cladding installations.) Each sheet includes two 1.5mm ribs for added stability, helping to prevent oil canning (surface distortion) and reduce drumming caused by strong winds, which is ideal for exposed locations.
Benefits of 30/500 Standing Seam Sheets
- A1 fire-rated (BS EN 13501) for maximum protection
- Ribbed design reduces drumming and oil canning
- Boasts a strong water seal at pitches as low as 6°
- Concealed fixings create a sleek, contemporary look
- Eco-friendly GreenCoat® Pural BT coating, and BES 6001 certification
- Corrosion-resistant steel with a lifespan of up to 40 years in normal environments
Cladco standing seam sheets are manufactured from 0.7mm SSAB Nordic steel with an eco-friendly GreenCoat® Pural BT coating. They’re responsibly sourced, BES 6001 certified, rated A+ by the BRE Green Guide, and fully recyclable. A 275g/m2 galvanised zinc layer and 50-micron coating provide excellent corrosion resistance, giving these sheets a lifespan of up to 40 years in normal conditions.
Each sheet offers 500mm coverage and features interlocking seams for quick, secure installation. Concealed fixings maintain a clean, zinc roofing-like appearance, while a strong water seal allows installation at roof pitches as low as 6°. Pair with our flashings for a fully sealed finish.

Fixing Guidance
For best results, we recommend using RoofTX Maxi roofing membrane over OSB or plywood, and securing sheets with annular ring nails.
In coastal or high-wind areas, additional fixings such as colour-matched stitcher screws provide extra reinforcement. If you need to fix sheets to timber or connecting overlapping runs lengthways, our 35mm low-profile wood screws offer a quick and reliable solution that will blend with your roof. This does mean the roof will include some exposed fixings; however, the colour‑matched heads minimise their visual impact.
When handling sheets, turn them clockwise with the eaves end facing to avoid damage. Please note a standard tolerance of ±10mm on sheet lengths.
More information can be found in our standing seam installation guide.

Working out the total square meterage of your roof will require measuring the total width of the roof’s area as well as the distance from the eaves (the lowest point) to the apex (the highest point) of the roof. This should be undertaken carefully and safely.
We recommend taking these measurements from the inside of your building for safety purposes. Multiply the two measurements together to give the total square meterage of the roof.
For apex, or dual-sided, roofs, you will need to work out the square meterage of each side of the roof and add the numbers together for the total coverage.

Customer Collection Notice
Please ensure you have pre-booked your collection slot before travelling to site.
When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.
During busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We always do our best to work within your booked collection time.
We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:
- Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
- Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
- We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
- If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
- Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.
