Do you need to pre-drill holes for roofing screws?
No, not with this range of roofing screws as they are self-drilling.
How long should my roofing screws be?
It depends on which roofing sheet is being installed. The screws chosen will need to penetrate the frame beneath as well as the roofing sheet itself. We have a large range of screw lengths available to accommodate for any roofing installation.
How tight should my roofing screws be?
It’s important not to overtighten screws as this will put pressure on the washers which could potentially break them. Make sure the screws are flush to roofing surface and make sure that once screwed, they are tight enough to hold the structure.
What drill bit do I need for my roofing screws?
We recommend using the TEK Socket Driver Tool when using the 8mm hex head screws.
