FAQs
No, the screws that we have available can be drilled into the decking without the need to pre-drill holes.
No, the spacing of the screws is dictated by the decking boards used. For composite decking boards, use t-clips or hidden clips to help secure the boards. T-clips will provide a 7mm gap between boards while hidden clips will leave a 3mm gap.
It's difficult to definitively say yes or no, but deck screws are made from stainless steel and therefore have more strength and last longer than wooden screws.
Yes you can. However, when installing composite decking, it is recommended to use T-Clips or hidden clips with the provided screws to make sure that the spacing between each decking board is uniform throughout.
Whether the supporting structure is made from composite, timber or recycled plastic - stainless steel screws are recommended for maximum strength.
