About Our Verge Flashings for Standing Seam

Cladco verge flashings play an important role in shaping the finished look and long-term performance of your standing seam roof. By forming a protective cover along each exposed edge, they help guide rainwater away from vulnerable areas and support a clean, defined roofline. When paired with the 90° verge flashing backer plate, they create a reliable barrier that enhances both the presentation and weather resistance of your installation.

Manufactured in 3m lengths, these flashings are made from SSAB Nordic quality steel and finished with an environmentally conscious coating of GreenCoat® Pural BT. Made using Swedish rapeseed oil, this coating offers durability and long-lasting resistance to corrosion, scratches, UV exposure and general weathering.

Fixing Guidance

Install verge flashings together with the 90° verge flashing backer plate to form a sealed and weather-resistant edge along your roof verges. Position the flashing neatly over the backer plate so it integrates smoothly with the hidden-fixing standing seam system. In more exposed or high-wind locations, you may wish to add 6.3x20mm colour-matched low-profile screws in stainless steel or Ruspert® for added reassurance. It’s worth noting that these additional fixings will be visible, but the matched colour helps them sit naturally within the roof design.

If you would like step-by-step support for a hassle-free installation, take a look at our installation guide, which covers recommended tools and clear fitting instructions. Our Help & Advice page is also full of useful guidance to support your project from start to finish.

Customer Collection Notice

Please ensure you have pre-booked your collection slot before travelling to site.

When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.

During busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We always do our best to work within your booked collection time.

We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:

  • Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
  • Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
  • We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
  • If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
  • Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Click & Collect – Pre-Booking Required

Once your items are ready, you will receive an email with a link to book your collection slot. Please note, same-day collections are not available and bookings must be made at least two hours in advance.

When you arrive, please bring your order confirmation and follow the signage to the collection area where a member of our team will assist you.
