Valley Edge Plate Flashing for Standing Seam - 3m
Struggling to create a secure edge where your standing seam sheets meet a valley section of your roof? Valley edge plate flashings provide a simple solution for forming a raised, reliable surface for fixing your sheets into place. Each 3m flashing offers a neat, consistent edge that supports accurate installation and improves the overall finish. Made from GreenCoat® Pural BT coated steel, they provide long-lasting durability with excellent scratch, corrosion and weather resistance.
About Our Valley Edge Plate Flashings
Cladco valley edge plate flashings help you form a clear and stable fixing surface at roof valleys, ensuring your standing seam sheets sit correctly and follow the natural line of the roof. They offer a tidy way to create the raised edge needed for securing 30/500 standing seam sheets with eaves lips, allowing for a cleaner connection between the roof slopes and the valley section.
Manufactured in 3m lengths, each flashing provides a 40mm surface area designed specifically for use within standing seam systems. Made from SSAB Swedish quality steel and coated in environmentally conscious GreenCoat® Pural BT, they offer strong durability along with reliable resistance to UV rays, corrosion, scratches and general weathering.

Fixing Guidance
Fit the valley edge plate flashing along the valley section before positioning your standing seam sheets, ensuring it forms a straight, raised edge for precise fixing. This helps the sheets sit neatly and creates a dependable junction between the valley and roof slopes.
In more exposed environments, you can reinforce the area with suitable low-profile colour-matched screws to give the flashing extra stability. Depending on your requirements, we provide screws in either a durable stainless steel finish or a Ruspert® coating. This does mean the roof will include some exposed fixings; however, the colour‑matched stitcher heads minimise their visual impact.

Customer Collection Notice
Please ensure you have pre-booked your collection slot before travelling to site.
When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.
During busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We always do our best to work within your booked collection time.
We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:
- Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
- Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
- We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
- If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
- Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.
