Add natural daylight exactly where you need it, with our 13/3 GRP translucent rooflights designed to integrate with Cladco 13/3 corrugated steel sheets. Strong, lightweight and UV‑resistant, they install quickly, handle harsh weather conditions well and offer long service life across agricultural, industrial and domestic environments.
About Our 13/3 Corrugated Translucent GRP Rooflights
A straightforward way to introduce natural daylight into corrugated roofing projects, Cladco 13/3 GRP translucent rooflights are designed to match our 13/3 corrugated metal sheets, helping brighten agricultural buildings, workshops, barns, commercial units and domestic outbuildings. They can be positioned anywhere along the roof run where additional light is required, providing a practical alternative to artificial lighting during the day.
Made from glass‑reinforced plastic, these rooflights offer reliable resistance to high winds, hailstones and day‑to‑day weather exposure. A protective anti‑fungal gel coat helps extend sheet life and maintain clarity, while the GRP material offers natural UV protection to help safeguard interior spaces.
Thanks to their lightweight construction, each rooflight is easy to handle and can be cut and fixed using simple tools. This makes installation quick and hassle‑free, whether you’re working on a new build or retrofitting rooflights into an existing corrugated roof.
Benefits of 13/3 Corrugated GRP Translucent Rooflights
- Allows natural daylight into corrugated roofspaces
- Lightweight GRP sheet that’s easy to install
- Withstands strong winds, hail and weather exposure
- Anti‑fungal gel coat for long service life
- Matches 13/3 corrugated metal sheeting for seamless fit
When used between corrugated metal sheets, each GRP rooflight should be overlapped by 250mm over a purlin to ensure proper support. To maintain overall roof strength, especially in large agricultural or industrial settings, we recommend fitting no more than two GRP rooflights side by side before returning to metal sheeting.
Clear GRP panels are also commonly used in carports, walkway roofs, and even plant‑growing environments such as greenhouses, propagation areas and horticultural buildings, helping provide bright, even daylight with minimal maintenance.
Fixing Guidance
For secure installation, fit 13/3 corrugated GRP rooflights using standard tools suitable for lightweight GRP panels. When installing rooflights between corrugated metal sheets, ensure each GRP sheet is overlapped by 250mm over a purlin for proper support. To maintain roof integrity, avoid installing more than two rooflights next to each other before reverting to metal sheeting.
Translucent GRP panels can be easily cut and fixed on site, helping achieve a fast, weather‑tight finish with minimal effort. Accessories and fixings, such as our self‑drilling screws with BAZ washer and corrugated eaves foam fillers are also available to help ensure professional results.

Working out the total square meterage of your roof will require measuring the total width of the roof’s area as well as the distance from the eaves (the lowest point) to the apex (the highest point) of the roof. This should be undertaken carefully and safely.
We recommend taking these measurements from the inside of your building for safety purposes. Multiply the two measurements together to give the total square meterage of the roof.
For apex, or dual-sided, roofs, you will need to work out the square meterage of each side of the roof and add the numbers together for the total coverage.

Customer Collection Notice
Please ensure you have pre-booked your collection slot before travelling to site.
When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.
During busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We always do our best to work within your booked collection time.
We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:
- Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
- Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
- We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
- If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
- Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.
