Each Cladco Signature composite cladding board provides 135mm of coverage once installed. For a secure and long-lasting finish, we recommend fixing the boards to Cladco composite or timber battens at 500mm intervals. For detailed installation guidance, please refer to our installation guide.
Fire Resistance of Composite Cladding
Is composite cladding fireproof?
Cladco Signature composite cladding is manufactured from a wood–plastic composite (WPC), which contains natural wood fibres. As a result, it is not fireproof and does not carry a specified fire rating, similar to traditional timber cladding.
While it has undergone fire assessment testing, a full fire rating has not been pursued due to the nature of its materials.
Need a fire-rated alternative?
We recommend our fibre cement lap wall cladding boards, which are Class B fire-rated and offer enhanced safety for projects requiring fire compliance.
Colour Variation and Natural Weathering
Due to the timber content in our composite products, natural colour variation and weathering are expected over time. After installation, boards will go through a colour stabilisation period, influenced by sunlight exposure and weather conditions.
If you order all boards at once, you may still notice slight variations. However, ordering cladding in multiple batches can result in more noticeable colour differences.
To minimise variation:
- Lay out all boards before installation to assess tonal differences.
- Mix boards from different packs for a more natural, blended appearance.
- Be aware that colours may appear different in wet vs dry conditions, which can highlight tonal variation.

To calculate the square meterage of your Cladding project, measure the total width of the wall and multiply that number by the height of the area being covered. Do this for each wall and add the results together for the total square meterage of your Cladding project.
Where doors and windows are present, calculate the square meterage for each, then subtract the results from the total wall coverage.
Treat any gable ends separately by multiplying the height of the gable (measuring from the apex of the gable down to its base) by the full width of the gable end. Divide this number by two to give you the square meterage for the gable section.

Standard collection lead time is 3-5 working days, this may vary depending on the product. If you would like to collect your order after 2 hours, please choose this option at checkout.

Vehicles we can and cannot load
Cladco Profiles will only load flatbed lorries and flatbed trailers for insurance purposes. If the appropriate vehicle is not available, two people would be required for a collection.
Cladco Profiles will NOT load any vehicles with roof racks, horse boxes, cattle lorries or fixed-sided trailers. Cladco Profiles has the right to refuse loading a vehicle for any reason.

Customer Collection Notice
Please ensure you have pre-booked your collection slot before travelling to site.
When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.
During busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We always do our best to work within your booked collection time.
We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:
- Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
- Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
- We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
- If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
- Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.
Click & Collect – Pre-Booking Required
You are welcome to collect your order from either our Okehampton (Devon) or Andover (Hampshire) site. All collections must be pre-booked in advance so your items can be picked, packed and ready for you.
Please do not travel to site without a confirmed collection time, as we cannot guarantee your order will be available.
Once your items are ready, you will receive an email with a link to book your collection slot. Please note, same-day collections are not available and bookings must be made at least two hours in advance.
When you arrive, please bring your order confirmation and follow the signage to the collection area where a member of our team will assist you.
