Details

This running outlet forms the connection between a 112mm Roundstyle gutter run and a 68mm round downpipe, allowing rainwater to be directed from the gutter into a drain or soakaway below. It provides a clean, functional transition from horizontal to vertical drainage and is a core component of the Brett Martin Roundstyle system.

Made from durable, UV-stabilised PVC with a gloss black finish, the outlet integrates seamlessly with other Roundstyle components and is suitable for domestic projects, including both new builds and refurbishments. The system is lightweight, easy to install, and corrosion-resistant, with a 10-year guarantee for added peace of mind.

The running outlet features external fixing wings for straightforward access with power tools, and integral flexible clips to simplify connection to adjoining gutter lengths.

Outlet specifications

  • Profile: 112mm Roundstyle
  • Material: PVC
  • Colour: Black (Gloss)
  • Guarantee: 10 years

Installation tips

Fix the running outlet directly above the drain or gully where rainwater will discharge, using 25mm x 5mm corrosion-resistant screws.

To ensure steady rainwater run-off, the guttering should be installed with a fall of 1mm for every 600mm toward the outlet. The running outlet should always be positioned at the lowest point of the gutter run.

Handling

This Brett Martin rainwater system is made from PVC, making it lightweight and easy to handle. All guttering and fittings should be handled with care at all times to avoid not only damage to the product but also preserve the appearance.

Storage

All Brett Martin products should be stored in conditions that will prevent the risk of damage and impact the appearance. Fittings and long items, such as gutter sections and pipes, should be kept in a cool, dry place. Gutter and pipe lengths should also be laid horizontally while in storage on a smooth, level surface to prevent distortion.v

If storing gutters, pipes and fittings outdoors, ensure all items remain in their original packaging until installation to protect them and maintain their original appearance.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance of your rainwater gutter systems is essential, with cleaning recommended at least once a year. In areas prone to significant windborne debris, such as falling leaves, more frequent inspections and clearing may be necessary.

The high-gloss finish of the guttering helps resist dirt build-up, but when external cleaning is required, a mild detergent solution is suitable for removing surface grime without damaging the finish.

Customer Collection Notice

Please ensure you have pre-booked your collection slot before travelling to site.

When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.

During busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We always do our best to work within your booked collection time.

We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:

  • Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
  • Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
  • We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
  • If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
  • Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Frequently Asked Questions
A running outlet forms the connection between a gutter run and a downpipe, allowing rainwater to be directed from the horizontal guttering into the vertical pipe and ultimately into a drain or soakaway.
It should be installed at the lowest point of the gutter run, directly above the gully or drain, to ensure efficient water flow away from the roofline.
Fix the outlet to the fascia board using corrosion-resistant 25mm x 5mm screws. Clip the gutter lengths into place on either side using the integral flexible clips built into the outlet.
No. The outlet uses a clip-fit system, so no additional sealing or adhesive is required just ensure the guttering is properly aligned and clipped in securely. You can use a silicone lubricant spray on the seal to aid connection if you wish, however.
Install guttering with a fall of around 1mm for every 600mm of run, sloping gently toward the outlet. Use a taut string line between brackets to help set the correct gradient.
