Brett Martin 68mm Round PVC Downpipe in Black - 4m
Ideal for carrying rainwater from gutter to gully or drain, this 4m, 68mm diameter downpipe is made from durable, gloss-black PVC. Fully compatible with Brett Martin’s 112mm Roundstyle system, it creates a secure, low-maintenance drainage run for domestic buildings and outbuildings, and is lightweight, robust, and easy to install.
This 4m length of 68mm round downpipe forms the vertical drainage run in Brett Martin’s high-capacity rainwater system. It connects to the running outlet of the 112mm Roundstyle gutter using compatible fittings and directs rainwater to a gully or soakaway at ground level.
Manufactured from durable, gloss-black PVC, the downpipe is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and UV-stabilised to maintain its appearance over time. Fully compatible with Brett Martin’s push-fit accessories including bends, offsets, brackets and shoes, it’s quick to install and supported by a 10-year guarantee.

Installation tips
Fit the downpipe to the outlet or offset bend and push into the socket until seated. Then withdraw by at least 5mm to allow for thermal expansion. Use a spirit level to ensure vertical alignment, and mark the wall through the bracket lugs to set fixing points. Drill, plug and secure with corrosion-resistant screws.
If the wall projection requires it, install an offset bend to follow the building contour. At the base of the run, a downpipe shoe should be used to guide water into the drain or gully. Once fitted, water test the system to confirm fall and joint integrity.
Handling
This Brett Martin rainwater system is made from PVC, making it lightweight and easy to handle. All guttering and fittings should be handled with care at all times to avoid not only damage to the product but also preserve the appearance.
Storage
All Brett Martin products should be stored in conditions that will prevent the risk of damage and impact the appearance. Fittings and long items, such as gutter sections and pipes, should be kept in a cool, dry place. Gutter and pipe lengths should also be laid horizontally while in storage on a smooth, level surface to prevent distortion.
If storing gutters, pipes and fittings outdoors, ensure all items remain in their original packaging until installation to protect them and maintain their original appearance.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your rainwater gutter systems is essential, with cleaning recommended at least once a year. In areas prone to significant windborne debris, such as falling leaves, more frequent inspections and clearing may be necessary.
The high-gloss finish of the guttering helps resist dirt build-up, but when external cleaning is required, a mild detergent solution is suitable for removing surface grime without damaging the finish.

Vehicles we can and cannot load
Cladco Profiles will only load flatbed lorries and flatbed trailers for insurance purposes. If the appropriate vehicle is not available, two people would be required for a collection.
Cladco Profiles will NOT load any vehicles with roof racks, horse boxes, cattle lorries or fixed-sided trailers. Cladco Profiles has the right to refuse loading a vehicle for any reason.

Customer Collection Notice
For those customers wishing to collect materials, we ask you report to the office first in order to be seen by a member of the sales team. Your goods will then be picked and brought to your vehicle.
Please note that during busy periods you may experience a wait while our yard staff serve other customers or are loading/unloading other vehicles.
We respectfully draw your attention to the following points:
- It is the ultimately the responsibility of the customer to load his/her vehicle and to ensure the goods are safely/ securely strapped down.
- Our staff will be happy to assist you load your goods onto appropriate vehicles by way of fork lift trucks. Our staff will not handball any goods into enclose vehicles. The loading of the vehicle is carried out entirely at the customers own risk. We will not be held liable for any damage that may occur to your vehicle or goods collected from our premises during the transport of said goods.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure both their vehicle and the goods are safe when they leave our premises.
- We can advise the approximate weight of materials prior to you arriving so that you can be sure your vehicle is capable of carrying the intended load. Please ensure that you bring appropriate ropes, straps or other securing materials as we are unable to provide you with any upon arrival.
- We strongly recommend you bring suitable protection materials to prevent your ropes/straps etc. be damaged by these edges. We recommend that you use good quality protective gloves when handling materials.
