Brett Martin 170mm Deepstyle PVC 90° External Angle in Black
Designed to turn Deepstyle guttering neatly around external corners, this 90° angle fitting maintains a continuous, high-capacity drainage run. Made from gloss-black, UV-stabilised PVC and tested to BS EN 607 and BS EN 1462, it integrates seamlessly with Brett Martin’s Deepstyle system for long-lasting, watertight performance.
Designed to guide water flow smoothly around corners, the Brett Martin Deepstyle 170mm 90° external angle connects two Deepstyle gutter lengths at the outer corner of a building. It forms a continuous run around a 90° bend, maintaining high-capacity drainage without disrupting the flow.
Made from UV-stabilised PVC, this external angle is part of Brett Martin’s Deepstyle rainwater system, engineered for performance across large domestic, commercial, and agricultural buildings. The PVC used throughout the range is fully tested for accelerated ageing in accordance with BS EN 607, ensuring long-term durability in exposed outdoor environments.
Compatible with the full suite of Deepstyle fittings, the system is straightforward to install and provides lasting performance. Its gloss black finish delivers a clean, unified appearance and resists fading over time. All Deepstyle components are tested to BS EN 1462 (Load Class H) for structural strength and load-bearing reliability.

Installation tips
When installing gutters around external corners, fascia brackets should be positioned no more than 100mm from the edge of the gutter angle to provide proper support and alignment.
This Deepstyle range features a single 90° angle fitting and is pre-assembled for installations where the wall sits on the inside of the corner. For installations where the wall is positioned outside the angle, it is recommended to reverse the clip positions to ensure correct orientation and secure installation.
Fix all fittings using corrosion resistant 25 x 5mm round head screws. You should never use nails to fix these gutter fixings under any circumstances.
If a gutter angle is located within 2m of the outlet, the effective roof area that can be drained should be reduced by 10%. Where the angle is positioned more than 2m away, apply a 5% reduction to the drainage area to account for flow resistance.
Handling
This Brett Martin rainwater system is manufactured from lightweight PVC, making it easy to carry and install. However, care should still be taken when handling gutter lengths and fittings to prevent knocks or scratches that could affect both performance and finish.
Storage
To keep your Brett Martin guttering and fittings in top condition, store all items in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight or impact risk. Gutter and pipe sections should be laid flat on a smooth, level surface to prevent warping or distortion. If outdoor storage is unavoidable, leave items in their original packaging until they’re ready to be installed, as this helps protect the surface and maintain their appearance.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your rainwater gutter systems is essential, with cleaning recommended at least once a year. In areas prone to significant windborne debris, such as falling leaves, more frequent inspections and clearing may be necessary.
The high-gloss finish of the guttering helps resist dirt build-up, but when external cleaning is required, a mild detergent solution is suitable for removing surface grime without damaging the finish.
