We’re excited to share some big news — our brand-new Cladco website is now live!

Our story began in 1972, when our founder, Leslie Trescher, started a small roofing sheet business in the Devon village of Inwardleigh. Over the years, steady growth saw Les’ son, Lawrence, join the company in 1982. Lawrence now leads Cladco as CEO, driving expansion and innovation at every stage, from hiring our very first employee in 2000 to launching our polymer-capped composite ProRange (ProDeck, ProClad and ProFence) in 2025.

In 2013, we took another big step, introducing composite decking after extensive market research. This quickly became a key part of our product range and helped establish Cladco as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of both steel roofing sheets and composite products.

Today, with over 140 staff and a loyal customer base spread across all corners of the UK, our commitment to innovation and improving the customer experience is stronger than ever, and it’s that same commitment that’s led to the launch of our new website.

Cladco has come a long way since we first began in 1972. From a small family business in Devon to a company with over 140 employees supplying customers across the UK, growth and innovation have always been at the heart of what we do.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our product ranges, from steel roofing sheets to composite decking, fencing, and cladding, and seen more and more customers choosing to shop online.

Our previous websites worked well, but having roofing and decking on separate platforms sometimes made the experience less straightforward. For example, customers ordering across different ranges often faced multiple baskets and separate delivery charges. We knew we could do better.
