About Our C Purlin Cleat Bracket (Side Installation / Mezzanine)

These boltable C purlin cleat brackets are designed for projects where purlins need to be fixed into the side of structural steelwork, rather than sitting on top. Available in three size options, this type of fixing is commonly used in mezzanine floors, platforms and internal steel structures, where C purlins act as horizontal sections within the framework.

By allowing purlins to be bolted directly into the face of beams or columns, these cleat brackets support mezzanine‑style construction, where keeping floor levels consistent, straight and connections secured is important. The fully bolted design removes the need for on‑site welding, helping to keep installation straightforward and repeatable throughout the build.

Benefits of Our C Purlin Cleat Bracket

  • Commonly used in mezzanine floors, platforms and internal steel structures
  • Pre‑punched fixing holes for efficient installation
  • Fixes purlins into the face of beams or columns, not on top
  • Fully bolted connection with no welding required
  • Manufactured from S450 galvanised steel for strength and corrosion resistance

For a complete fixing solution, the cleat brackets are compatible with our bolt set for purlins, available either as a convenient bundle (including bolt, washer and nut) or sold individually, helping to ensure the correct components are used throughout the build.

Manufactured from high‑strength S450 galvanised steel, these cleat brackets offer reliable load‑bearing performance along with durable corrosion resistance, making them suitable for long‑term use in both internal environments and exposed steelwork.

Customer Collection Notice

Please ensure you have pre-booked your collection slot before travelling to site.

When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.

During busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We always do our best to work within your booked collection time.

We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:

  • Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
  • Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
  • We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
  • If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
  • Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Click & Collect – Pre-Booking Required

Once your items are ready, you will receive an email with a link to book your collection slot. Please note, same-day collections are not available and bookings must be made at least two hours in advance.
