Come Join Us at the 118th Okehampton Show

Make sure 13th August is marked in your diary, because Cladco Profiles is proud to announce that fresh from our successful exhibitions at the Devon County Show and the New Forest Show, we will be attending the 118th Okehampton Show, Dartmoor’s largest agricultural show.

As a family-run business based right here in Okehampton, there are few events that feel quite as close to home as this one. For generations, the show has celebrated the very best of rural Devon, bringing together local businesses, farmers, tradespeople, families and communities from across the west country.

Everyone at Cladco is looking forward to meeting both our loyal customers and many new faces throughout the day, while helping visitors learn more about our range of products. Whether you're looking for metal roofing sheets for a barn or agricultural building, composite decking for a garden renovation, or cladding for a garden room, we'd love for you to stop by our stand for a chat.

While many of the Cladco team will be over at the showground throughout the day, there's no need to worry if you're not attending the Okehampton Show. Both our Okehampton headquarters and Andover depot will remain open as usual, so whether you're planning to visit us, collect an order, or discuss an upcoming project, our team will be on hand to help.

And if you are heading to the show, feel free to stop by before or afterwards and say hello.

As part of this year's Okehampton Show, we'll be running our Cladco Profiles® Garden Makeover Competition, giving one lucky winner the chance to take home a fantastic £1,000 voucher.

If you’re interested in getting involved and potentially winning our fantastic prize, make sure you stop by our Cladco stand and take part in our football‑themed challenge. Step up, take your shot, and try to kick the Cladco ball through the target.

Anyone aged 18 or over who successfully hits the target will be entered into the prize draw. And don’t worry if you’re with youngsters that want to try their luck and test their footballing skills. While visitors under 18 can’t enter our competition, children are still very welcome to have a go too — the bragging rights will be just as sweet as winning first prize!.

Whether you’re dropping in for a chat with our friendly team, having a look at our various displays, or just soaking up the family-friendly atmosphere, everyone’s welcome.

Since the inaugural Okehampton Show took place on 24th September 1891, it has become a much-loved fixture in the local calendar and an important part of life in Okehampton and the surrounding communities. From an impressive crowd of 4,000 at the very first show, the event has continued to go from strength to strength, attracting over 16,000 visitors in 2025.

Originally held on the grounds that are now home to Okehampton RFC, the show's growing popularity eventually meant a larger venue was needed. This led the Okehampton & District Agricultural Association to move the event to Stoney Park, its current home on the western edge of Okehampton.

Located less than three miles from Cladco's headquarters, the showground now welcomes thousands of visitors each year looking to experience the best of West Country life. From local businesses and trade stands to food and drink producers, arts and crafts, livestock competitions and family attractions, there's something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.

If you're planning to bring the family along and experience everything the Okehampton Show has to offer, the information below should help you prepare for the big day.

Tickets can be purchased in advance using the Okehampton Show's General Admission booking page.

Those who book before 13th August can take advantage of the show's Early Bird discount, securing tickets for just £18.00 per person.

If you'd prefer to make a last-minute decision, tickets will also be available to purchase on the gate at the standard price.

Carers accompanying a full-paying adult can apply for a complimentary ticket via the show's Carer Admission booking page. Please note that supporting documentation will be required when booking and may also be requested on arrival.

*Advanced tickets are non-refundable.

The show has free parking on-site. 

As much of the showground is grass, it's worth checking the forecast beforehand and wearing suitable footwear, especially if rain is expected.

The main car park also has disabled parking, however, this is available on a first come, first served basis. These areas are located close to the showground entrance but please be mindful that these spaces can fill up very quickly, so aim to arrive as early as possible to ensure you get a space.

If you would prefer to make the most of public transportation to the show, a free bus shuttle service will be running from Okehampton train station and town centre to the Showground. Service runs from 9:30-6:00pm.

Dogs are welcome to attend, but they must be kept on leads at all times.
