About Our 13/3 Corrugated Galvanised Roof Sheets

The traditional corrugated profile, coupled with the galvanised finish, makes these sheets desirable for agricultural and farm buildings. Despite this, it is still a great option for larger commercial, industrial set-ups or domestic builds where this aesthetic is desired.

To be applicable to both roofing and cladding, our galvanised corrugated sheets are available in two thicknesses. The 0.5mm thickness is best for cladding installations. Lightweight and easy to manage, cladding is the perfect application for this thickness. Whereas the 0.7mm, thicker sheet is optimal for roofing due to its increased strength and load-bearing properties.

Benefits of 13/3 Corrugated Sheets

  • Reliable strength from the 13‑wave profile
  • Wide 990mm cover width for fast installation
  • Suitable for traditional, agricultural and commercial builds
  • Lightweight yet durable for roofing or cladding
  • Low‑maintenance galvanised finish for long‑term protection

When using for roofing projects, we suggest a minimum pitch of 10° to allow for water run-off. Coverage spans 990mm when lapped, and sheets can be manufactured to a maximum length of 5m (0.5mm) or 7m (0.7mm). Please speak with us if you need custom-length sheets. Our sales team are available to help with your enquiry on 01837 659901.

Despite the lack of a painted coating, our galvanised steel is still resistant to the elements. Just ensure that when using it for roofing, the pitch is 10° or higher. This is to reduce the risk of water or debris build-up on the sheets over time. You can find out more about our coating options here.

Fixing Guidance

Galvanised flashings are also available to help finalise your job. These, along with the sheets, can be fixed in place using self-drilling TEK screw fixings on the peaks of the profile, rather than in the valleys. The included BAZ washers will allow for a secure fit - just make sure not to over- or underscrew them! See our installation guide for more information on this and a step-by-step guide.

If more protection is needed, you can also install corrugated foam fillers to close up the edges of the roofing system and reduce wind entry.

How To Calculate Square Metres plus minus

Working out the total square meterage of your roof will require measuring the total width of the roof’s area as well as the distance from the eaves (the lowest point) to the apex (the highest point) of the roof. This should be undertaken carefully and safely.

We recommend taking these measurements from the inside of your building for safety purposes. Multiply the two measurements together to give the total square meterage of the roof.

For apex, or dual-sided, roofs, you will need to work out the square meterage of each side of the roof and add the numbers together for the total coverage.

Customer Collection Notice

Please ensure you have pre-booked your collection slot before travelling to site.

When arriving to collect your order, please report to a member of our Warehouse Team who will register your arrival and locate your goods. Once ready, your items will be picked and brought to your vehicle loading area.

During busy periods, there may be a short wait while our yard team assist other customers or complete other loading tasks. We always do our best to work within your booked collection time.

We respectfully draw your attention to the following important points:

  • Loading is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. While our team can assist with mechanical loading using forklifts, we cannot handball items into enclosed vehicles. Customers must ensure their vehicle is suitable and that goods are safely loaded and adequately secured before leaving the premises.
  • Sharp sheeting, metal goods, and long/heavy items may pose additional handling risks. Please come prepared with high-quality protective gloves, and any appropriate protection materials to avoid damage to your vehicle or restraints (e.g. ropes or straps). The edges of roofing sheets and metal products can be extremely sharp, and care should be taken when handling.
  • We strongly recommend that customers bring their own straps, ropes, or other securing materials, as we are unable to provide these at the point of collection.
  • If you are unsure of your vehicle’s load capacity, we can advise the approximate weight of your order in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is suitable for transporting the goods safely and legally.
  • Cladco will not be held liable for any damage to your vehicle or goods once they have been loaded and leave our premises. Loading assistance is provided entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Click & Collect – Pre-Booking Required

You are welcome to collect your order from either our Okehampton (Devon) or Andover (Hampshire) site. All collections must be pre-booked in advance so your items can be picked, packed and ready for you.

Once your items are ready, you will receive an email with a link to book your collection slot. Please note, same-day collections are not available and bookings must be made at least two hours in advance.

When you arrive, please bring your order confirmation and follow the signage to the collection area where a member of our team will assist you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dripstop is an anti-condensation felt membrane, that can be applied to the reverse of our 0.7mm thick box profile and corrugated roofing sheets. The Dripstop layer is designed to prevent condensation build-up on your roofing sheets. Dripstop will only work if it is applied to a well-ventilated building.

Yes. For large‑scale commercial projects, high volumes or specialist requirements, our team can provide technical guidance and quotations. Please call 01837 659901 for further assistance.

Technically, you can. It would be more expensive than using the 0.5mm sheets, as you’re paying for the extra thickness and strength. Generally, we recommend using the 0.5mm sheets for cladding and the 0.7mm sheets for roofing.

Yes. Despite the lack of coating, these sheets are made from strong steel and will still be resistant to the elements.

Yes, we have flashings to match every finish and range of metal roofing and cladding sheets. Galvanised flashings are what you will need to complete your galvanised corrugated project.

These corrugated sheets provide 990mm coverage when lapped.

We suggest that the lowest pitch is 10°, to allow for proper run-off of rain and debris from the sheets.
