Rooflights / Clear Sheets
To let natural daylight into a sheeted building you may want to replace some of the metal sheets with rooflights, clear sheets made of translucent GRP or PVC to match our profiles. These sheets are also used for canopies and walkways.
34/1000 Profile GRP Rooflights
These are made from high quality translucent 8oz./1.3mm thickness GRP glass fibre with a fire rating of SAB3, offering extremely high impact resistance, minimising the risk of breakage. It has superb flexibility, putting a stop to frustrating splitting at fixing points. High impact strength also reduces the risk of site and consequential damage. They let in diffused daylight at a transmission rate of over 80% and give excellent flexibility and light stability featuring a protective polyester film bonded to both surfaces preventing growth, discolouration and protection against the degrading effects of Ultra-Violet radiation in natural sunlight.
Trisomet GRP Rooflights
Trisomet Composite Panel GRP rooflights or FAIRS (factory assembled insulated rooflight sheets) are made as a hollow section air tight panel, and match the dimensions and thickness of the composite sheet.
Corrugated 10/3 Section Rooflights
(2ft 6/760mm cover when lapped) are made from transparent PVC of 1.3mm thickness. They also let in daylight at a transmission rate of over 80% and give excellent flexibility and strength.
Flat Sheets
Made from either pre-formed flat PVC Plastisol or Polyester coated steel strip in colours and finishes to mach roofing and cladding sheets, come in standard 3m x 1.2m size, 0.7mm thickness. Ideal for making flashings, gutters, doors etc.

Zed Section Roofing Purlins & Cladding Side Rails
These are purling cross members, designed for horizontally supporting roofing and cladding sheeting. This traditional and well proven system offers a high degree of flexibility together with structural efficiency and light weight. This, combined with the simplicity of cleat details and ease of handling, make zed purlins suitable for the most complicated of roof detail shapes.
Our Zed Purlin sections are made from structural, prime quality, hot dipped galvanized steel, 1.6, 1.8 or 2mm in thickness with pre-punched holes for fixing to cleats and sleeves.
We supply sleeves for joining purlins together and cleats for joining purlins to rafters.
